Average Face of Singapore MPs (1997 - 2018)

Image
I was inspired by the average faces of 42 subreddits posted by u/BizCaus to run my own mini project and decided to try the average faces of Singapore's MPs for funsies. The scripts were from here if you are interested to run it yourself. The Result For the original pictures, I used the composite photos of all the MPs posted on the  parliament.gov  and cropped out the individual pictures using the extractImages script that I wrote previously. I only used 1997 images onwards as they are in colour and are more consistent in quality compared to the older pictures.

Mental Health Chatbot - Part 1

Everything is at our fingertips. From transportation to food, stock market to cryptocurrencies, news to social media. We are living in an interconnected world where information about the world is available to us in just a few clicks/touches away. But how connected are we with ourselves? My interest in chatbot started with Woebot, a mental health chatbot study conducted by Standford University (Fitzpatrick, Darcy, & Vierhile, 2017). I later found out though that it still doesn't work and is currently working on a different method using  object detection Initially, I was resistant to embark on this project mainly because I could not find a way to do in R. I came across  this solutio...
